Install Borddo as an App on Android & iOS

How to setup Borddo as an app on your phone

Installing Borddo as an app makes it feel like a native application on your phone. It creates a home screen icon and runs in its own window without browser elements, such as the address bar, tabs, etc.

Android

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Go to app.borddo.com

  3. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top-right corner.

  4. Look for: “Install app” (if it’s a PWA-enabled site). or “Add to Home screen” (for normal websites).

  5. Tap it and confirm by clicking Install or Add.

  6. You’ll now see the app icon on your home screen. It opens in its own window.

  2. Go to app.borddo.com

  3. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮).

  4. Tap Install or Add to Home screen.

  2. Go to app.borddo.com

  3. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮).

  4. Choose Add to phone or Add to Home screen.

  5. Confirm and the icon appears like an app.

iOS (iPhone & iPad)

iOS only allows Safari to install web apps fully. Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on iOS don’t support “Add to Home Screen” because of Apple’s restrictions.

Safari

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Go to app.borddo.com

  3. Tap the Share icon (square with an up arrow).

  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.

  5. Edit the name (optional) and tap Add.

  6. The icon is now on your home screen. When opened, it runs in its own app-like window.

Chrome, Firefox, Edge (on iOS)

On iOS, these browsers cannot add web apps directly because of system limitations.
However, once you install a site with Safari, you can open it from any browser later.
